Meet Daniel, a three year old, thirty seven pound smart guy who is ready to be someone’s best decision of the year. 🐶

Daniel came to the Kansas Humane Society with his brother after their home was condemned, and he has been winning hearts ever since. He is affectionate, playful and full of personality. He loves games like fetch and tug of war, enjoys road trips, walks well on a leash and already knows an impressive list of commands including sit, stay, come and leave it. He is fully housetrained and will let you know when it is time to go outside like a total professional.

Daniel has lived with kids and cats before, loves fruit and is not shy about sharing his opinions with a little low grumble now and then. He would love to go home with his brother Clarence, but it is not required.

If you are looking for a fun, loving and incredibly well rounded companion, Daniel is absolutely worth meeting.

Meet Allan, the kind of dog who treats every day like leg day. This two and a half year old, fifty seven pound bundle of energy is all about movement, kisses and having the absolute best time possible. 🐶

Allan loves exploring, scratching his back on the turf like it is his personal spa and delivering big wet kisses with zero warning. He came to KHS as a stray, so his backstory is a mystery, but his personality is loud and clear. He would do great with a fenced yard and someone who is ready to keep up with his go go go energy.

If you have ever said “I want a husky, but I also value my sanity,” meet Leo. He is six years old, forty eight pounds and brings the full husky starter pack: dramatic howls, big opinions and a nose that insists on smelling every single thing in a three mile radius. ❄️🐺

Leo already knows how to sit and shows signs of housetraining. He loves exploring, following scents and narrating his life like he is the star of a nature documentary. Typical husky behavior. Elite entertainment.

Congratulations to BRADI and HEAVEN!! .. Bradi was the recipient of $124 in free Christmas cash today as a random drive-thru customer at the Taco Bell at 47th Street South & Broadway in Wichita .. Heaven (not pictured, guarding the prize money!) was hungry for Taco Bell, and the drive-thru stop turned out to be their lucky day! Ted "The Sports Head" was on site for the third Taco Bell/KFH Christmas cash giveaway of the season!! The SportsHead will be at a Taco Bell🌮 location next week on Friday for another giveaway -- stay tuned!

Day Six 🐾

If you have been craving something tender and full of love, may we introduce Ribeye. This four year old, forty five pound sweetheart is pure joy wrapped in a perfect medium rare personality. 🥩🐶

Ribeye is the kind of dog who walks up politely, waits for your lap to be open for business, then gently places his paws like he already belongs there. He knows how to sit, walks well on a leash and gives kisses like he is handing out samples at a steakhouse.

He came in as a stray, but his manners and affection level are top tier.

Day Five 🐾

If your family has been missing a little extra joy (and a whole lot of zoomies), meet Rocko. This six and a half year old, fifty eight pound lovebug is happy go lucky, full of energy and always smiling. This dude does not walk into a room, he bursts in with tail wags like he is announcing himself. 🐶

Rocko is housetrained, walks well on a leash and lived with young kids before, which he absolutely adored. He is playful, social and convinced that running in circles outside is his calling in life. He has not lived with other dogs, but he has done well meeting them, and The Kansas Humane Society offers dog to dog introductions to make sure it is a good match.

If you want a family dog with a big heart and even bigger zoomies, Rocko is your guy.
