👋 Okay, lighting people... we can’t control when industry news hits, and lately the Inside Lighting front page is starting to look a little more like Court TV than lighting business news.

💰 Signify’s patent enforcement continues, with a notable court ruling on Friday (not in Signify's favor.)

🧑‍⚖️ And jury selection for Minnesota lighting agent Mlazgar vs. Current starts today. Trial scheduled to begin Aug 17.

💥 Then on Wednesday, we’ve got another legal doozy coming that should get plenty of attention on the architectural lighting and lighting design side of things.

🚫 We don’t turn every legal filing into a story just because somebody burps a routine motion onto a court docket... but we’re also not going to ignore the big developments when they happen.
