Hello! I’m DJ Glop and starting the afternoon of 8/22, I will have my final send-off as a DJ at Album 88! I started at the station back in January 2023, and I hope for my final shift to be a collection of all of the music I have discovered during my time as a DJ and the stories that accompany them – everything from the songs that were in rotation when I first started, to the artists that have become some of my favorites from hosting the Georgia Music Show, and so many more songs that have helped me connect with so many people in ways that I could have never imagined. Music will always hold a unique place in my heart for how it brings people together, and I’m excited to get to share that one more time on the 88.5 FM airwaves from noon on Saturday to 6 a.m. on Sunday!

Hey Hi Hello! I’m DJ Lavender :]
I’ve been at Album 88 since Spring 2023 and I’ve been the General Manager for the past 2 years. I graduated from undergrad back in Fall 2024, but came back for my Master’s immediately so I could stay at the station longer (and to further my education and career ig).
These days, I’m mostly on air Sunday evenings doing specialty shows. I’ve been co-hosting 88 Bit Trip since November 2023 playing a lot of chiptune and significantly less VGM (shout out DJ Lynese and also DJ Fish). This year, I also started co-hosting the talk radio show ‘Nerd Hour’ back in October (shout out DJ Oilspill and DJ Fish again
