The voting is in for Week 11 Ellis County Athletes of the Week sponsored by Methodist Midlothian Medical Center!

Girls: Tatum Box, junior, Italy basketball
Box recorded 27 points, 11 rebounds, 9 steals and 7 assists in a 54-11 non-district win against Waco Bishop Reicher Catholic on Nov. 10.

Boys: Jerrell Bridges, junior, Midlothian football
Bridges had 7 total tackles (6 solo) and a forced fumble in a 36-16 bi-district playoff win over Georgetown East View on Nov. 14.

The voting is in for Week 10 Ellis County Athletes of the Week sponsored by Methodist Midlothian Medical Center!

Girls: Daniela Tometi, Senior, Mid. Heritage basketball
Tometi had a team-high 7 points in a very low-scoring 21-20 loss to Colleyville Heritage in the 2025-2026 season opener on Nov. 9.

Boys: Jerry Meyer III, Junior, Waxahachie football
Meyer had 236 passing yards and 4 TDs on 11-of-12 attempts in the first half alone in a 52-7 win over Mesquite on Nov. 6 that clinched the District 11-6A championship.
