We’ve got a new addition named Big Mama. With the heat causing chaos, my ex lost seven of his nine birds and even one of mine didn’t make it. It’s been a whirlwind, with crazy early mornings and unexpected tasks like moving 24-foot panels and hay bales. I feel like I’m learning how to be strong in a whole new way.

I painted and installed pine shelves with black metal brackets, varied depths for easy access and added pre-made shelves for cosmetics and hair products. I included a vanity mirror, USB outlet, and crafted a slatted frame for open shelving. Finished with painted and textured wood for a sleek look.

Let's gather some materials and DIY a second small coop for the front yard, adding some spice for our ladies and gentlemen. We unexpectedly ended up with 13 chickens, so this new coop, crafted from reused materials, will be smaller and shaped to match our house.
