Steve truthfully is the kindest man I’ve ever known. Surprised me by learning Spanish and even asked for my hand in marriage in Spanish. He’s learned all of my mom’s recipes and cooks them often for us at home. I’ve never asked him to, he just had so much fun and immersed himself in the culture I grew up in.

If he wanted to, he would 🙌🙌

Our friend tried it for the first time and then realized my sister and I were accidentally wearing the same color 🤣
Our Aunt owns this place and it’s my favorite spot for Menudo. I’m in full señora mode because I still ordered menudo even with the 104° heat index 🙈

Sorry I’ve been quiet on here today: we’ve been celebrating my sisters BIRTHDAY at Silver Dollar City ! First summer back here in YEARS. It’s changed a lot but I think the expansion has been done quite tastefully.
•Can you guess which coaster my sister is standing in front of? She used to be terrified to get on as kids but she had a BLAST today.

Unfortunately I’m still not cleared for coasters after my orthopedic surgery so I had to watch from the sidelines.

About the coaster: Reaches up to 65 miles per hour, features a 15 story drop (155 feet), features 5 total inversions.

Good morning everyone! It’s the beginning of a new month and I’m wishing you all the absolute best. Do you have any goals for the month?

I aim to continue healing and working towards my wellness goals. 😊

Woke up tired this morning because I worked closing shift last night, didn’t stop me from attending my 7am PT appointment though! 💪🏼

The dogs? Yeah, they didn’t even bother to wake up when I was walking out the door 😂 they were so cozy.

I could be annoyed I work weekends again after not working them for 3 years. OR I could be thankful that my shift ended in time to see this gorgeous sunset 🙌☺️

If you’re new here: I’m on a mission to seek joy in every day life. For my entire life, I’ve felt trapped in a mind riddled with anxiety and depression. I’m hoping it helps reduce my anxiety and helps me be more positive. I’m so grateful for a job that has helped my mental health!
Corporate life isn’t for everyone and it certainly wasn’t for me 🙈 - after 3 years of being regional HR for 200 stores….
I decided to work at a gas station because I love gas station culture so much lol. The store I work as is tiny and old, and kept open strictly by regulars. I basically get paid to clean and provide customer service aka make small talk- all day! Perfect for a yapper like me😂.

Sunday shift is over, now I’m going to enjoy the evening with the love of my life and our fur babies. What are you up to?
