Is frozen pizza amazing or an abomination?

You don't need to love it or hate it, but how often do you consume frozen pizza?

Frozen pizza is cheap, easy and in your control. But some people turn their noses up at the frozen stuff, saying that fresh pizza is the only way to go.

Virtual Writing Workshops Writing the Italian in Your Memories 10 AM to noon on SATURDAY, JAN. 22 Register now at www.casa-belvedere.org 𝘕𝘰 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘺, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬, 𝘱𝘦𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘶𝘯! When we look back on our past, whether a year or decades ago, our stories are often intertwined with our culture—its richness, expectations, challenges and humor. During each workshop, led by author Maria Giura, we’ll focus on how one aspect of Italian American (IA) life forms the background or foreground of our memories. The theme for this Saturday’s Virtual Writing Workshop is Writing about Creating: creating writing/stories, home, relationship, career, things of lasting value. Likely poets will include Marisa Frasca, Gil Fagiani, Maria Lisella, Frank Rossini, Maria Te***ne, Barbara DeCesare, and Maria Mazziotti Gillan. Participants will receive prompts to generate their own writing and, by the end of each workshop, will have produced an original piece of writing. You don’t have to be Italian to write about how Italy may be part of your memories! Fee for each workshop is $27, or $30 for non-members. There is a member discount for family members. Register here: https://casa-belvedere.org/product/virtual-writing-workshop-writing-the-italian-in-your-memories/ Those who attend will have input into the focus for the next workshop on Jan. 29! #CasaBelvedere #TheItalianCulturalFoundation #StatenIsland #VisitStatenIsland #NYC #NYCgo #AllInNYC #VirtualNYC #ThingsToDoInNYC #ItalianCulture #CultureFromHome #VirtualProgram #Zoom #RegisterToday #VirtualItaly #Italy #LearnAboutItaly #VirtualWritingWorkshop #Workshop @mariagiurawrites

We bet you're going to join the St. George Theatre Virtual Christmas Show - happening virtually for the 🅵🅸🆁🆂🆃 🆃🅸🅼🅴 🅴🆅🅴🆁! 🎄 The 2020 Christmas Show is the 17th annual and first-ever virtual version of the Staten Island tradition. Conceived by the late Mrs. Rosemary in 2004, the Christmas Show is a high energy, rhinestone-studded series of songs and dances, centering around a grandmother reading a Christmas story to her grandchildren about the wonderful happenings that make the holiday season special. Starting off in grandmother’s house, the show takes the audience on a magical journey through numerous scenes and scenarios from the North Pole to Times Square, Clove Lakes Park to The Rainbow Room, culminating in a nativity sequence telling the story of the First Christmas. This year’s show will feature footage from the 2018 and 2019 productions, plus new scenes starring Paul Anka with Emmanuel, Bobby Wilson, Vinnie Medugno, Marcus Simeone and his group Clearly Now, a special tribute to our military presented by the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a brand-new socially-distanced finale starring dozens of the show’s cast members, and so much more! 🌟 🎥𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰.𝐒𝐭𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐞.𝐜𝐨𝐦, 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐓𝐮𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬. . . . #stayonstatenisland #allinstatenisland #AllinNYC #theunexpectedborough NYC: The Official Guide Staten Island USA Staten Island Advance Staten Island Chamber of Commerce Downtown Staten Island Staten Island Parent NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment I LOVE NEW YORK New York State Tourism Industry Association Time Out New York Staten Island Arts Staten Island Arts & Entertainment Guide Visit The USA U.S. Travel Association Untapped New York Gothamist New York City Department of Cultural Affairs New Yorkers for Culture & Arts
