WTIT WTIT was the longest running Tape Radio Station ever. It's music, comedy & friends for 56 years when It's all been recorded, and it all is intact.

Starting as 15 year-olds in high school, a group of friends that do comedy, music and tell their life's stories for now 50 years on the longest running Tape Radio station, WTIT. We played the music of each era and did radio comedy bits. Currently, the lineup is Bud Weiser, Rock Rolling, Bouncing Billy, Gregarious Greg & The Midnight Plowboy. All good things end. Our Final Show will be on May 7th.

We've only invited two guys from the past to keep the night intimate. It's almost like time travel when we listen back to the sessions, we will hear us interview our prom dates, talk of the birth of our children and later divorce and grandkids. Check out our website at WTIT.net for the entire story. WTIT.org is our blog...

Our Story

Starting as 15 year-olds in high school, a group of friends that do comedy, music and tell their life's stories for now 50 years on the longest running Tape Radio station, WTIT. It's all been recorded and it all is intact. We played the music of each era and did radio comedy bits. Currently the lineup is Bud Weiser, Rock Rolling, Bouncing Billy, Gregarious Greg & The Midnight Plowboy. Recently WTIT had its 50th Anniversary Show & Party. Along with our current group, Galloping Gary, Johnnie Walker, The Cosmic Commando & Captain Morgan returned. It's almost like time travel when we hear us interview our prom dates, talk of the birth of our children and later divorce and grandkids.

In our re-write of our history on this page, we realized that we hadn’t mentioned the death of one of our Original 5 DJs. Jumping Johnnie Walker passed away on July 4th 2018 at age 67. Other than Bud, no one had been on almost the entire WTIT story. He and Bud navigated all the changes. The change when we switch from reel-to-reel to cassette in 1985. The switch to a total digital studio in 2000. The three guys that left and how we replaced them. And kept replacing until it all settled down. Of the new guys that joined in the 80s, Rock, Midnight & Cos were the best. They all appeared on our 50th Anniversary session in 2017. We flew Johnnie back from Colorado. When Bouncing Bill drove him back for his final flight, he knew we made a great decision. We got to spend our last seven days with Johnnie.

Check out our website at WTIT.net for the entire story of our start right through 2019. Peace and love!
