Well, we had some things come up, so we are day late - but we have to take a moment to say Happy Birthday to "Yes Regrets," (released June 3rd, 2022 on RascalZ RecordZ) the landmark sophomore album from TheWorst. The critically acclaimed record, which was featured in REVOLVER, Alternative Press, Under the Radar, BrooklynVegan and more includes musical contributions from Dana Colley (Morphine, Vapors of Morphine), Tony Bevilacqua (The Distillers), Nikki Glaspie & Nate Edgar (The Nth Power) to name a short few. The album was recorded at Chillhouse Studios and co-produced with Will Holland, the amazing artwork created by Andrea Georgas. In addition, if you are driving from afar, there is a good camping option at Searsport Shores Ocean Campground, but we recommend you getting in touch with them asap, summer season starts this weekend for real on the midcoast.
Lastly, for non-locals attending the show, there is a construction happening in Searsport, DO follow the signs for "local traffic only" or "downtown is open for business." The town is being understanding on the situation, and there is ample parking throughout the town (try the maritime museum if all else fails) - but considering it's the beginning of summer tourism, DO give yourself a little more time to get there. Searsport is a wonderfully cool little coastal town and if you get there mad early, a great place to go the ocean and kill some time.

HELP! So, sadly, the Standel I use as a major part of what I do playing "bass" with theWorst, has officially DIED. I don't know exactly my next step, as I was able to get a VERY specific tone out of the sucker, and not something that is found in new or modern amps. Firstly, is there anyone in NEW ENGLAND that may have a used one of these for sale?
Secondly, is there someone in NEW ENGLAND that has a similar 1967-1973 solid state BASS or even BIG guitar amp (NOT TUBE!) from same period. There were a couple companies that made it, but as I have a gig on Saturday, looking for a local option. Please DM me or EMAIL [email protected] if you have a tip on this Sitch,

ps - I said "bass"with "" as what I do with theWorst is split signal and actually using this amp (standel). for mid-range guitar like tones - and sh*tty tones at that - the band is Called theWorst - so looking for SH*TTY solid state that can move air (much wattage) ...
