Photographer Jimmy Fikes spends his workdays tethered to monitors—but his zine "Travel Job" captures what happens when the rigging drops and the real light hits.

"Between call-times and tether cables, I started turning the downtime when I was work traveling into little street safaris—quick grabs of light, texture, and strangers I'd never see again."

At over 200 pages, "Travel Job" is a visual reminder, Fikes says, "that even when I'm hired to manage pixels, I'm still out here making my own pictures."

Photographer Chris Tudor captures a Myanmar that feels suspended in time, through 150 photographs and personal journal notes that trace her journey from the ancient city of Pagan to the road to Mandalay.

Traveling with a copy of Orwell's "Burmese Days," Tudor's "Here and There in Myanmar" follows balloonatics, forgotten temples, mirrored lakes, and stories etched into centuries-old stone.

"I was lucky enough to travel there in a time of moderate social and political calmness, and also before two earthquakes, which gravely damaged most of the temples featured in the book," says Tudor. "So it's a time-travel book too, in a way, Myanmar will never look the same."

Family vacations double as creative projects for Mark Peterman, Heather Linnenkamp, and their daughter, Maisy, who turn each trip into a co-authored photo book.

Their latest, "PAC NW," follows their spring break travels through Oregon and California, continuing a decade-long tradition of printing their shared stories.

"These books document our trips and have become the history of our family that we display on a book wall in our house," says photographer Peterman.

Mark Jackson wears many hats: artist, photographer, creative collaborator—and father. This Father's Day, we’re spotlighting the creative legacy he’s building with his family.

He practices a range of media, from sculpture to photography, and shares his studio with his kids. His daughter, Summer, works alongside him full-time, repping his work to galleries and managing the business side of things. His son, Solo, a filmmaker and composer, contributes video and sound to help tell Mark's story in motion.

Together, they’ve built more than a creative practice—they’ve built a family-run studio that supports Mark’s art from creation to connection with clients, collectors, and curators. One of their go-to tools is "VELESERO," a printed lookbook that serves as a distributable visual aid to present Jackson's portfolio with clarity and impact.

"Nothing compares to handing someone a beautifully printed magazine full of my work," Jackson says. "It's tangible and real and showcases my work so well. And it stands out. People don't expect it."
