Organized the bench, made some tools I needed, and did a hard reset today. Materials will be here soon for the next run, so I took the time to get organized. I also cast a set of scales for Joe Geronimo to match his canoe. Color seems pretty spot on based on the picture provided. For a little razzle dazzle I mixed in some black walnut shavings. I am hoping for a specific effect upon finishing. If it comes out like p**p then I let my creativity cause a pretty expensive mistake lol.

For one of the new Pathfinder blades that was ordered recently the scales that were chosen were custom Brook Trout scales. While ordering my materials I decided to take advantage of the shipping and add a set of Rainbow Trout scales to the order. SO that means you can now no longer choose your handle material for those knives, if you were interested in one. BUT it also means there is a Pathfinder available with these rad Bitterroot Handle Works Rainbow Trout scales. Any takers on the build? If you are interested drop a comment below or message me.

Honestly I forgot all about this pattern. Just put it on foam...and it feels good! So here goes, I am going to start a Pathfinder run. There will be 4 of them. This will likely be the last run of knives I make this year. Fall is basically here and it is time for me to get outside and adventure. I will be using Pops 8670 (High Carbon Nickel Steel) and Micarta pins. Currently we can work together to choose handle material. But that window closes pretty quickly as I will be ordering material for the run soon. The Pathfinder (4 inch blade) fills the gap in both size and purpose between my A10 Bushcrafter (5 inch blade) and my Battle Ridge EDC (3 inch blade). Its job? Everything. Feed it wood, fish, game, whatever you like. It will eat it. If you are interested drop a comment below or message me.
