The TalentHub team has just wrapped up a strategic and sunny week in Marbella! 😎 ☀️

Between tapas and sangria, we aligned on key initiatives for the upcoming quarters, refreshed our core mission and values, and officially launched our new business venture in Lithuania. And of course, it wasn’t all work — daily activities like hikes, padel, and dinners brought us even closer together as a team.

The Spanish sun definitely recharged our batteries, but now back to cooler temps in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, we go! 😅

Meet Ave, our sourcing wizard and cherished team lead who always brings the best learnings to the team. Ave is an integral part of our team, providing immense support to everyone 🤍

Ave has been in recruitment since 2015, starting with high-volume recruitment and transitioning to tech recruitment in 2017. She joined us in November 2021. She has primarily worked in the EMEA markets, with some sourcing projects for the US. From CS roles to C-level positions, Ave has hired a wide range of talent essential for a company’s success.

Although she never actively pursued a team lead position, it was a natural transition for her, and she’s very happy that this is now a significant part of her daily work. When asked what drives her the most, she said, “The main thing that brings me joy at work is seeing the people in my team become better every day and grow into the kick-ass recruiters that they are. Knowing I had even a tiny bit of impact on their growth is an amazing feeling!”

Ave’s main hobby right now is gardening—she loves getting her hands in the dirt and seeing the things she’s planted come to life and thrive. She has two dogs and dreams of adding some chickens and bees to her home-zoo in the future! 🐔🦮

As a voracious reader, Ave read 71 books last year, especially loving all things sci-fi. When it comes to non-fiction, she’s mostly into science, social issues, and memoirs. Feel free to hit her up if you want a book recommendation! 📚

Ave’s main tip for job seekers: “Don’t give up! Especially when it comes to switching careers. This is coming from a former kindergarten teacher 😉 You’ll never succeed if you don’t try.”
