RED DROP President, Ms. Bilquees Ara, Donates 41st Pint of Blood, Setting a Stellar Example
PATTAN, JAMMU & KASHMIR – In a remarkable display of altruism and commitment to social welfare, Ms. Bilquees Ara, President of the women's wing of RED DROP (under the aegis of KASHMIR CONCERN), today donated her 41st pint of blood at the Trauma Hospital, Pattan.
This landmark donation by Ms. Ara, who is widely recognized as a pioneering "Blood Woman" of Jammu and Kashmir, underscores a lifelong dedication to saving lives through voluntary blood donation. Her consistent efforts serve as a powerful inspiration, particularly for women across the region.
The Chairman of RED DROP, Dr. Touseef Ahmed, was present at the occasion and hailed Ms. Ara's unwavering efforts and dedication. In his statement, Dr. Ahmed commended her as a role model and issued a call to action for more women to join this noble cause.
