Rep. Alex Noah to Commission Two Major Projects in Sinoe County District #3

By: Elijah D.S.Pyne

Sinoe County, Liberia – January 22, 2026
Representative Alex Noah of Sinoe County District #3 has announced plans to commission two major development projects as part of his 2026 development agenda.

Speaking to a team of legislative reporters on Thursday, January 22, 2026, Rep. Noah disclosed that the projects will be commissioned on March 15, 2026, in conjunction with activities marking his birthday celebration.

According to the lawmaker, the projects are estimated to cost between eighty thousand and one hundred thousand United States dollars and are intended to help alleviate the socio-economic challenges facing residents of District #3.

Rep. Noah explained that the projects include the official opening of his new residential building in Saynquen, Jacksonville, Situtary District, and the commissioning of a modern youth center equipped with a computer laboratory.

He said the youth center will provide young people with access to computers, internet services, and 24-hour electricity, aimed at enhancing digital literacy, intellectual development, and access to global information.

The Sinoe County District #3 representative described the initiative as part of his commitment to empowering young people and improving living conditions in the district.

Paramount Chief Gbaimah Lauds Rep. Womba for Pioneering Pipe-Borne Water Project

By Staff Writer

The Paramount Chief of Panta Administrative in B**g County Electoral District #4, Justine Gbaimah, has praised Representative Robert Womba for initiating a pipe-borne water project aimed at providing safe and accessible drinking water to residents in the District.

The initiative will benefit residents particularly from Belleh-Mu and Forequelleh.

Speaking during the commissioning of the project, Chief Gbaimah described the initiative as the first of its kind in the area, noting that for many years, residents have struggled to access clean and safe drinking water, describing it “a life-changing intervention.”

Paramount chief Gbaimah further assured that the communities benefiting from the project will put in place measures to maintain and protect the facilities to ensure long-term use and sustainability for the benefit of all residents.

According to him, the community will take ownership of the project by working together to protect and maintain the water system for generations to come.

For his part, Representative Womba’s office representative, James Jenteh, said the pipe-borne water initiative reflects the lawmaker’s commitment to improving the well-being of his constituents through practical and people-centered development.

According to Jenteh, the water project is part of a broader plan to provide safe and accessible drinking water across the district.

Jenteh further disclosed that projects are currently being implemented in major towns, including Gbalatuah, Niama, Belefenai, and Gbonota, among others.

He emphasized that the project is Representative Womba’s own way of responding to the long-standing water challenges faced by residents of District #4, and further disclosed that the goal of the lawmaker is to ensure that every major town in the district has access to safe drinking water.

Residents of Belleh-mu and Forequelleh have welcomed the project, describing it as a major relief that will improve public health and reduce the burden of traveling long distances to fetch water.

The pipe-borne water initiative is expected to significantly improve living conditions and support community development across the district.

Amb. Melvin G. Tuolee Celebrates Birthday with Donation to Orphanage

The Executive Director of Integrity Youth for Progress, Ambassador Melvin G. Tuolee, has identified with the Rock of Divine Children’s Orphanage as part of activities marking his birthday celebration.

The donation, which took place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, brought smiles to the faces of the orphans and administrators of the Rock of Divine Children’s Orphanage.

Speaking during the donation ceremony, Amb. Tuolee said the kind gesture was intended to celebrate his birthday with the less fortunate, especially children who are often abandoned and rejected in society. He noted that the initiative was also meant to support and complement the efforts of the orphanage’s administration in providing care for the children.

Items donated included bags of rice, cooking oil, toiletries, and a cash contribution of Five Thousand Liberian Dollars (LD 5,000).

Receiving the items on behalf of the orphanage, an administrator of the institution, Madam Surmo Bono, expressed appreciation to Amb. Tuolee for the gesture. She assured him that all donated items would be used for their intended purpose to support the welfare of the children.

Madam Bono further commended Amb. Tuolee for choosing to share his birthday with vulnerable children, describing the act as a demonstration of genuine compassion and social responsibility.
