SHIN KO KUN SAN HADARIN DAGA YARA DA HANNU?

Daga cikin raunukan da iyaye ko masu raino kan yi wa ƙananan yara ba tare da an sani ba akwai raunin gwiwar hannu da ake cewa "Pulled elbow" ko kuma "Nursemaid elbow" a turance.

Raunin "Pulled elbow" 'yar ƙaramar gocewar ƙashi ce a gaɓar gwiwar hannu da ta fi samun ƙananan yara 'yan ƙasa da shekara shida. Raunin na faruwa ne sakamakon saɓulewar ko yagewar tantanin "annular ligament" da ke riƙe da kan ƙashin "radius" a gaɓar gwiwar hannu.

Me ke kawo wannan rauni?

Sakamakon gaɓoɓin yara 'yan ƙasa da shekara shida ba su gama yin ƙwari sosai ba, saboda haka, tantanin da ke riƙe da kan ƙashin na "radius" bai gama ɗaure ƙashin tamau ba. Wannan ya sa ƙananan yara aka fi jefa wa cikin haɗarin gamuwa da wannan rauni yayin ɗaukansu.

Saboda haka, wannan rauni yana da alaƙa da rashin lura ko ganganci yayin ɗaukan ƙananan yara kamar:

Riƙe tafin hannu ko tsintsiyar hannun yaro tare da ɗagawa da hannu ɗaya ko hannu biyu yayin:

i. goyawa a baya.

ii. yi wa yara lilon hannu.

iii. ɗagawa domin ɗorawa ko saukewa daga abin-hawa, ko kuma tsallakar da su rami ko tudu.

Domin kauce wa yi wa yara wannan rauni, a zaɓi riƙewa ko ɗaga yara ta hanyar riƙe damatsansu ko kuma sanya hannu tare da riƙo su ta hammata.

Alamun wannan rauni:

1) Yaron da ya samu wannan rauni ya kan yi ƙorafin ciwo daga gwiwar hannu zuwa tsintsiyar hannu musamman idan aka yi yunƙurin motsa hannun.

2) Haka nan, yaro zai maƙale hannun a jikinsa, sannan ya miƙar da gwiwar hannun tare da juya tafin hannun zuwa jikinsa.

Sai dai, irin wannan rauni ba kasafai ya ke zuwa da kumburi a gwiwar hannun ba.

Saboda da hake ne ake kira ga iyaye da masu raino da su guji ɗaga ko ɗaukar yara musamman 'yan ƙasa da shekara shida ta hanyoyin da aka ambata a sama, sannan iyaye su nusar da masu rainon yaransu domin kiyaye afkuwar wannan rauni.

Garzaya da yaro asibiti da zarar an lura da yaro ya kasa amfani da hannunsa, kuma yana ƙorafin ciwo a gwiwar hannu zuwa tsintsiyar hannu, musamman bayan zargin faruwar ɗaya daga cikin abubuwan da ke janyo raunin da aka ambata a sama.

GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

March 29, 2025

It is hereby announced for the information of the General Public that after a review of the preliminary report of the unfortunate incident of Thursday 27th March, 2025 at Uromi in Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo State involving the gruesome killing of some travelers, the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo has ordered the immediate suspension of all illegal Vigilante Groups operating under whatever guise in the State. Also suspended is the Commander of the Edo State Security Corps, CP. Friday Ibadin (Rtd.).

It is to be reiterated that the local vigilante group involved in the gruesome killing of 27th March was operating illegally as it was never profiled or registered with Edo State Security Corps. Its actions do not reflect the core values, character, and principles of the Okpebholo administration or the objectives of the corps as enshrined in the Edo State Security Corps Governance Law.

Investigations into the killings are ongoing and fourteen (14) persons have been arrested so far, while there is an intense manhunt for others involved in the gruesome killing by a special team set up by the Inspector General of Police.

The Government of Edo State reiterates its belief in the constitutionally guaranteed rights of citizens to move freely or engage in lawful business in any part of the country.

In the meantime, the Government is in touch with families of the victims, community leaders, and the Government of Kano State where most of the deceased are reported to hail from.

We urge all parties involved to remain calm as the State Government remains committed to ensuring that justice is done in a most efficient, transparent, and proactive manner.

URGENT CALL FOR ACTION TO ADDRESS SECURITY CHALLENGES IN HADEJIA LOCAL GOVERNMENT OF JIGAWA STATE

As concerned citizens of Hadejia, we write to express our deep alarm and distress over the escalating insecurity and violent attacks occurring within our community. It is with heavy hearts that we report the unsettling rise in criminal activities, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, when innocent individuals are being slain and stabbed without cause. These appalling acts of violence have plunged our community into a state of fear and turmoil, severely disrupting the peace and harmony we once enjoyed.

The situation has become unbearable, with notorious individuals perpetrating heinous crimes and targeting innocent residents without any regard for the sanctity of life. The lack of immediate and effective measures to address these issues has emboldened these criminals, making such activities appear customary, especially during the fasting period. This unfortunate reality not only tarnishes the reputation of our ancient and great town but also creates an environment of distrust and despair among the people.

We urge the government of Jigawa State to take decisive and swift action to end this wave of violence. It is imperative to thoroughly investigate these incidents, apprehend the perpetrators, and ensure they face the full weight of the law. Establishing a visible security presence in Hadejia and surrounding areas would serve as a deterrent to potential criminals and reassure residents of their safety. Moreover, engaging local leaders and stakeholders in dialogue can help address the root causes of these criminal activities and foster a collaborative approach to restoring peace.

Moreover, we call upon the esteemed Ulama to use your preaching times to highlight relevant Qur'anic verses and Ahadith of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) that emphasize the grave consequences of killing innocent people in Islam. Your sermons should caution individuals against such criminal activities and encourage adherence to the principles of peace and justice. This spiritual guidance can play a pivotal role in shaping the moral compass of our community.

We also urge the people of Hadejia to actively seek forgiveness and pray to the Almighty Allah (SWT) for protection from the continuation of these criminal activities. Collective prayers and supplications can strengthen our resolve and bring divine intervention to restore peace in our land. Furthermore, we encourage all residents to remain vigilant in their neighborhoods and report any suspicious or criminal behavior to the authorities promptly. This collective effort will help create a safer environment for everyone.

We believe that the government has the capacity and responsibility to safeguard the lives and properties of its citizens. Failure to act promptly risks eroding public trust and allowing the situation to deteriorate further. We stand ready to support any efforts aimed at achieving lasting peace and security in Hadejia.

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of Kogi Central has reported her six-month suspension from the Nigerian Senate and her allegations of sexual harassment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio to the United Nations Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU). Speaking at the Women in Parliament session during the IPU meeting at the United Nations in New York, she described her suspension as illegal and expressed concerns about her safety for bringing the issue to the international stage.

The Senate suspended Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan last week, citing violations of its rules, including speaking without permission and refusing to sit in her assigned seat. This suspension came days after she submitted a petition accusing Senate President Akpabio of sexual harassment. The Senate's ethics committee dismissed her allegations, citing procedural rule violations, and recommended her suspension for alleged misconduct.

In her address to the IPU, she sought justice and the intervention of global democratic institutions, emphasizing that her suspension was a response to her petition against Akpabio. She also voiced concerns about her security, indicating fears of potential repercussions for speaking out at the international forum.

Saraki to Akpabio: Don't Politicise, Trivialise Call for Due Process in Senate

Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has described as "cheap politics and trivialising of a serious issue" the claim by incumbent Senate President, Godswill Akpabio that the call on him to ensure that transparent and open process is instituted to investigate the accusation levelled against him by one of his colleagues, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan is an attempt to remove a Niger Delta person from office.

Saraki, in a statement signed by Yusuph Olaniyonu, the head of his media office in Abuja, urged Akpabio to read his press statement dated March 1st, 2025 very well to understand that there was nowhere he suggested the resignation of the Senate President.

“Rather, he advised that Akpabio should act in the best interest of the legislative institution by ensuring that no reasonable person is left with any doubt about the fact that the allegations raised by the Senator were investigated and justifiably dispensed with.

"The attention of the Abubakar Bukola Saraki Media Office has been drawn to the statement made by Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio while addressing the leaders of some “youth ethnic groups” on Friday that certain individuals from Kwara and Adamawa States want him removed because he is from the Niger Delta region.

"Ordinarily, Dr. Saraki would have ignored the statement as a sign of the times in which we now live. However, its underlying motive of politicising and trivialising a serious issue that threatens the integrity, credibility, and importance of the legislature is the reason why we think we should not allow the Senate President to create a misleading impression of the issue at stake in the all-important institution that the National Assembly represents in our democracy.

"Dr. Saraki in his last comment on the Akpabio-Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan crisis never called on the Senate President to resign or step aside. Rather, he urged the Senate President to be conscious of the fact that perception is reality and therefore he should avoid treating the allegations by the Senator in a manner that will create the perception that the Senate as an institution is trying to cover up issues bothering on sexual harassment, gender discrimination, and abuse of office.

“Also, Dr. Saraki made it clear that his intervention was neither about Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan nor whether her claim was right or not. He stated that since the Senator has gone public with such serious allegations against the presiding officer, the image of the institution should be saved through an honest, sincere, open, transparent, and unbiased investigation.

“In that press statement, he also pointed out that there are already existing processes recommended in the Constitution, laws of the land, Senate rules, conventions, and precedents to be followed in carrying out such investigation.

“Again, Dr. Saraki is of the firm belief that his suggestions are for the benefit of the legislative institution. So, he will repeat the same suggestion no matter where the Senate President comes from and whichever party he belongs to. It is not because the incumbent is a member of the APC, that the former Senate President is from the PDP or that the former is from the South-South zone while the latter is from the North Central zone. Far from it. It is disingenuous and crude to describe Dr. Saraki’s comment along those primordial lines.

“This issue is definitely not one in which Akpabio should exploit ethnic sentiments, political division, or regional proclivity. This will neither be in his own interest or that of the institution over which he is presiding. He should face the reality on ground and do what is right.

💠Urgent Assistance Needed – Stolen Pi Network Balance 💠

Dear Pi Pioneers,

As a long-time member of this precious digital currency, Pi Network, I am writing to report an unfortunate incident. On Friday, 28th February 2025, my 164 Pi Network was stolen by an unknown party.

The 164 Pi was successfully moved to my Available Balance at exactly 18:02:51, but just 5 seconds later, at 18:02:56, it was transferred away without my authorization.
