Every Filipino has their and to be honest Jollibee has always been a part of our lives since then that brings joy to every meal that we purchase from their fast-food chain also it is the place where we’ve had some of our best memories. I think everyone can relate to this because I too myself can also relate. The country’s biggest and most loved fast-food chain in the Philippines released a campaign entitled it is a series of video advertisements that depict true-to-life stories of every Filipino despite heartbreaks, rejections, and challenges that they experienced all along the way. It also depicts their victories as well as their unique love stories this was launched way back in 2016.

The Viral TV Advertisement of Jollibee’s One True Pair Series entitled “The Jollibee ad that broke the Internet.” is basically about Cam the Chameleon which is a girl who deliberately changes her personality to match her current boyfriend until she loses her sense of self in the process. The Advertisement wants to convey to us that you don’t need to change your personality for you to be able to fit in with someone regardless of what you have and what you can do. The least that you can do is just to be yourself and everything will put into place, do things that make you happy. The message sells the product as the company associate the Character of Cam to their product which is the Jollibee Chicken joy Perfect Pair (1pc Chicken Joy with spaghetti and Iced Tea) this helped to promote their product, as we all know Jollibee know their target audiences and also they invest in long-form contents. The guy wanted to join with Cam eating and telling that he wish he had also taken the leg part but Cam told the guy that It doesn't need to be both same to be meant for each other, they also have a slogan at the end of the Advertisement it showed a Quotation “Sometimes you need to find yourself first before you find your perfect pair.” Just like Cam, she admitted that she was a former Chameleon who transformed for the last time to become herself with no filter, no partner, and no problem, and finally She chose to follow what her heart dictates. The Advertisement doesn’t have any implicit message.

The viral videos continue to touch the hearts of many and garner recognition in the country and even abroad. According to the Jollibee in less than a month, the commercial hit over 12 million views, over 300,000 reactions, and over 70,000 shares. PASKO SA GITNA NG PANDEMYA

Ilang araw bago matapos ang buwan ng setyembre ang unang buwan ng 'ber months' nagsilabasan na ang mga tradisyong Pinoy sa nalalapit na kapaskuhan, nandyan na meron nang nagbebenta ng Christmas decorations, nagpapa tugtog ng Christmas songs sa kalye at sa loob ng kanilang mga tahanan at mga lugar kung saan nagpapakita na nga talaga ng nalalapit na kapaskuhan.

Hindi lingid sa bawat isa na ang kapaskuhan sa makalipas na dalawang taon ay kakaiba mula sa nakasanayan, dahil nga ang buong mundo ay nasa kalagitnaan ng pandemya na dulot ng COVID-19. Marami ang hindi pa rin alam ang gagawin ngayong haharapin na naman ng bawat isa ang paskong ayon sa iba ay malungkot at mahirap. Ayon sa isang panayam kay preacher Bo Sanchez "I tell people that they must stop waiting going back to 'normal'. You've got to be able to prosper in your now which is in the pandemic".

"There is a crisis going on but find a way to prosper now. Move now. Stop waiting. Second is Filipinos should explore more opportunities and be willing to fail because that means you also learn something new, Third is to stop overthinking and start over- thanking" dagdag ni Sanchez.

At least 294 areas in the National Capital Region have been placed under granular lockdown as of Sunday, based on the data from the Philippine National Police released on Monday.

The PNP said these “lockdown areas” in Metro Manila were reported in 151 barangays in 10 cities and municipalities. Of these areas, at least 193 were houses, 39 were residential buildings, 30 were streets, 18 were subdivisions, and 14 residential building floors.

A magnitude 5.7 earthquake struck Occidental Mindoro this Monday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

The epicenter of the earthquake was traced 23 kilometers off the town of Looc, Occidental Mindoro. It had a depth of 74 kilometers.

The earthquake, recorded at 1:12 a.m., was of tectonic origin, according to Phivolcs. It was felt as far away as Metro Manila, with residents were woken by their buildings shaking.

“It was really strong,” Jose Clyde Yayong, a disaster officer in Tagaytay city in the neighboring province of Cavite.

“So far, there are no untoward incidents relating to the earthquake.”

Leonardo Tristan, a disaster officer in Looc town, said the quake force sent some residents rushing outside.

Quakes regularly rock the Philippines due to its location on the Pacific “Ring of Fire”, an intense seismic activity arc stretching from Japan through Southeast Asia and across the Pacific basin.

The following earthquake intensities were registered in these areas:

Robredo to push through unification plans against the administration and Marcos

As the filing for the certificate of candidacy (COC) approaches, Vice President Leni Robredo stated on Sunday that she will continue to promote unification efforts among presidential contenders for the 2022 elections against the administration and the return of the Marcos family to Malacanang.

The deadline to submit a COC is October 1. Robredo stated that she had no choice but to decide by October 8. She said she needed to be ready to file by October 8 if she decided to do so. However, she still has two weeks left. The team of Robredo is searching for an opportunity to band together against the administration.

She went on to say that there might be others we cannot invite, but as long as the lines of communication are open, she will pursue it. Many scary things, according to Robredo, could occur in 2022. Robredo also stated that there is still hope for the government to be united, despite the COC reporting deadline approaching in two weeks.

In light of the factors for running, Robredo went on to say that the current political system should be abolished since it favors the wealthy.

Edrian Celestino, A Filipino figure skater, are now in Germany aiming to win for the coveted 2021 Nebelhorn Trophy.

After Celestino arrived in Germany on Wednesday, the Philippine Skating Union or (PHSU) posted a photo of him on Facebook.

"Touchdown Oberstdorf, Germany for the 2021 Nebelhorn Trophy!" says the caption.

Our PH figure skating representative, Edrian Celestino, will compete in a few days for a spot in the next Winter Olympics through this tournament.

Celestino is accompanied by his coach, Nicholas Young, and the President of PHSU, Nikki Cheng.

THE STORY OF TWO HOMELESS ORDINARY TEENS

Pamilya Ordinaryo was produced by Cinemalaya Foundation, Outpost Visual Frontier, and Found Films and was directed by Eduardo Roy Jr. This was distributed by the Quantum Films. The story depicts the life of a homeless teenage parent in Manila is a 16-year-old Jane (Hasmin Kilip) and 17-year-old Aries (Ronwaldo Martin). They resort to stealing to provide for their needs and their baby and also someone kidnapped their one-month-old child that brings the teenage parents panic as they face challenges and try to find their newborn child.

The Film badge several awards during the 2016 Philippine Independent Film Festival or Cinemalaya including the Best Film, Best Editing, Best Actress, and Best Director. The film was also received awards and nominations from different film festivals in our country and also internationally.

The Film is indeed good and inspiring, it is also a heartbreaking sketch of our Country. The film gives us a glimpse of this reality they showed five (5) realities that are happening presently in our country. First is there are many illiterate and homeless children in our country because they live on the streets and their life is on the streets most of them don’t know how to read and write. Second is there are a lot of teenage parents these days and children born out of wedlock. Here in our country, the teenage pregnancy rate is going higher because of a lack of knowledge and proper guidance. The third is the weak and poor are often taken advantage of. In the film, Jane was asking for the help of the police who are supposed to serve and protect people to look for her baby but instead of helping Jane the police did not help her but for the price of her dignity. Fourth is we are more selfish than selfless. Fifth is a good mother will do everything to get her child back. In the film though a teenage mother, sets an example of what it is like to be a good mother. She will do everything to get her child back she was duped, maligned, and taken advantage of, but she kept going and looking for her baby.

Overall the film is rated as R-18 or Restricted-18. This rating advises the viewers, parents, and supervising adults that the film may contain any of the following themes, language, violence, nudity, s*x, horror, and drugs that may not be suitable for children below eighteen (18) years of age.

The Film Pamilya Ordinaryo is very relevant today, because of the social issues that were shown in the film. The Film imparted that one’s background is not enough to gauge a person’s true worth. Education is very important it affects our lives and Education is the key to success. The Film has a strong sense of realism with the mix of narrative and the use of real footage combine to make it more gritty and dramatically powerful. The Film makes us see how much each person struggles to get through their own set of challenges and it gives us knowledge about how big a responsibility to have a child and it makes us more conscious of biases.

Noong miyerkules, Setyembre 22 inanunsyo ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pag aprubang pwede nang hindi gamitin ang face shield sa pampublikong lugar. Mula ito sa rekomendasyon ng Technical Advisory Group (TAG), habang kinakailangan naman suotin ang face shield sa mga lugar na tinatawag na "3Cs" ito ay ang closed, crowded, close-contact.

"I was informed by the medical experts on the use of face shields, pwede na tanggalin sa labas. No more face shields" pahayag ng pangulo

"Ang limitasyon, ang face shields gamitin mo 3Cs: closed whatever facility, hospital; crowded, it's a crowded room tapos mas delikado, at saka close-contact kapag magkakadikit Ang tao", dagdag pahayag ng Pangulo.

Samantala matapos ang anunsyo ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte noong miyerkules, sumunod naman ang anunsyo ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) na gumagawa na ang Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF-MEID) ng mga bagong patakaran sa paggamit ng publiko sa face shield.

Sari-saring opinyon ang lumabas matapos ang pag anunsyo ng Pangulo patungkol sa pagsusuot ng face shield, marami ang nagalak dahil ito raw ay hadlang sa pang araw araw nilang gawain at hindi ito nakatutulong sa pag laban sa naturang virus. Ang iba naman ay inihayag na mas maiging magkaroon na lamang ng konkretong plano patungkol sa pag sugpo sa COVID-19. Ang pagsusuot ng face shield ay makatatandaang malaking usapan sa Pilipinas, dahil ang naturang bansa na lamang ang bansang gumagamit ng face shield sa buong mundo. Maigi rin na pag isipan mabuti ang mga patakarang ipatutupad sa publiko dahil dito nakasalalay ang proteksyon at buhay ng bawat isa.
