Klimt meets Bösendorfer & Peleș at the “George Enescu” International Festival
An exceptional tour by pianist Alexandra Silocea and a preview exhibition

The Austrian Cultural Forum and the “George Enescu” International Festival are joining forces for the first time in an innovative project created by a major figure of the international piano scene – “Klimt meets Bösendorfer – Ver Sacrum by Alexandra Silocea.” Together with renowned Austrian mezzo-soprano Patricia Nolz and acclaimed French actress Laëtitia Eïdo, the celebrated Franco-Romanian pianist Alexandra Silocea, based in Vienna, brings together Gustav Klimt’s favorite piano works, vocal-instrumental poems, dramatic performance, and the exceptional sound of a refined limited-edition Bösendorfer piano.

The concerts will take place as part of a tour running from September 11–15, in Bucharest, Sibiu, and Arad. In addition, audiences attending the Bucharest concerts will get a special preview of the new traveling exhibition “Gustav Klimt and the Künstler-Compagnie at Peleș.”
