Despite the torrential downpours, ThespyHouse, Eternal Play Productions and Cinenapse put on an inspiring panel called No Permission Needed.

My biggest takeaway— don’t let rejections make you stop creating. As artists, it’s the nature of the business. Our work is not meant for everyone and it doesn’t need to be. Make what you love, put it out there, believe in it, and the right people will find you. Don’t give up.

Also, shoutout to Devin for inviting me and got to reconnect with Kaitlyn, who I haven’t seen since the set of Devil’s Th*****me in 2024.

AT THE OTHER END OF THE BAR, the woman in a cardinal dress perches atop a stool amongst the usual line of crows. High cheekbones painted to perfection, a plunging neckline drapes over her slender frame, and the wedding ring on her left hand presses against her half-melted vodka tonic. She’s a vision of Venus and just as lifeless.
