📍 Location: Oakesdale/St. John Sub-District
Whitman County is looking for a Working Foreman to lead road maintenance and construction crews in a key sub-district. This supervisory role requires hands-on work and coordination of daily assignments with a strong focus on safety and quality.
🔧 Job Details:
Starting Wage: $31.99/hr
Full Wage Range: $31.99–$38.23/hr
Status: Open until filled
First round of interviews: May 28, 2025
💼 Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in road construction/maintenance OR equivalent training/education
Valid Class A CDL with tank endorsement
Safe driving record
1+ year experience driving tandem axle trucks with a 13-speed road ranger transmission
🛠 Work Includes:
Operating graders, loaders, oil distributors, sanders, and light-duty vehicles
Supervising crews and coordinating with district superintendent
Working in all weather conditions and environments (in-cab, outdoor, or office)
