💔 Tragic news from the World Cup...
⚽ A 22-year-old volunteer has died after being struck by a suspected drunk driver while walking home from a match at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
🙏 Aaron Avery had just finished his second shift helping at the World Cup when the crash happened. He suffered catastrophic injuries and was later pronounced dead in hospital.
❤️ Aaron’s family say he was passionate about helping his community, and in a final act of generosity he became an organ donor, potentially saving up to eight lives.
🕊️ A fundraising campaign has now been launched to help his loved ones cover medical and funeral costs as tributes continue to pour in.
