The collection takes its cue from the beauty of bird wings—graceful, sculptural, and symbolic. Each piece celebrates individuality and nature’s asymmetry, just as Jean Schlumberger once envisioned. 💎

For fashion lovers, the collection also includes two showstopping high jewelry suites: one featuring tanzanites (a Tiffany legacy stone introduced in 1968) and the other the turquoise, another gemstone deeply rooted in Tiffany’s heritage.

Happy Chinese Valentine’s Day! 💕 Unlike the cupids and red hearts of the Western holiday, China’s “Qixi” (the 7th day of the 7th month on the lunar calendar) traces back to the star-crossed love between a farmer boy and a fairy. Although they are worlds apart, their devotion moved the heavens and the couple was granted a yearly reunion across a bridge of magpies.

But did you know? Long before Qixi became a celebration of romance, it was a festival for maidens. Girls would pray to the Weaver Maiden and test their skills in a needle-threading challenge—trying to pass thread through a seven-hole needle under the moonlight. The one who finished fastest will be blessed the whole year. 🧵🌙

Akachen Jewellery’s “The Eternal Garden” is on view at the Houston Museum of Natural Science through Sept. 28! 💕

Taiwanese artist Aka Chen is a pioneer in working with titanium, a notoriously challenging material due to its high melting point and hardness. With exceptional skill and eye for beauty, Chen transformed the metal into breathtaking works that blend the intricacy of contemporary jewelry with the fluidity of brush painting.

The exhibition features 20 stunning sculptures, from small, delicate vases to sweeping 30-foot polyptychs, where graceful branches cradle jeweled flowers and wildlife. 🌸🌿

A new documentary, “Lisa Lu Plays Herself,” directed by Chen Mei-Juin, premiered on July 12 at Lincoln Center as part of the 24th New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF). Told entirely in her own words, the film captures Lu’s extraordinary seven-decade journey across Hollywood and Hong Kong.

At the premiere, she was also honored with the Vanguard Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award. A trailblazer and mother of three, Lu shows us what it truly means to live with purpose and passion. Nothing has ever held her back—and nothing ever will. ❤️
