There’s something dreamy and idyllic about a watercolor painting. Its fluid washes of pigment and blurred edges capture the mood of the scene it's portraying—whether it’s the calm of a still pond or the romance of a hazy sunset. This season, nail artists are channeling that same vibe into manicures. Watercolor nails use layered and blended colors to create a diffused, fluid finish that feels expressive and artistic. A vaccine that keeps melanoma from returning for years could be a reality one day, according to clinical trial results recently published in the "Journal of Clinical Oncology." Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, is also likely to return; if you've had one, you're at a higher risk for another, as cancerous cells may remain in the body even after treatment. But a personalized mRNA vaccine may help delay or prevent melanoma recurrence when combined with traditional treatment (surgery and immunotherapy). "This is precision medicine and immunotherapy converging in a way that really signals the future of melanoma therapy," says double board-certified dermatologist Kavita Mariwalla (). At the link in bio, learn more about the vaccine, which is currently undergoing another round of clinical trials.

Oh, you thought Hailey Bieber was the only celebrity attempting their own nail art? Pshaw. Might I direct your attention to one Kat Dennings, who is not merely attempting her own manicure masterpieces but thoroughly killing it, as evidenced by a new pierced chrome French mani that took her three hours to complete.

Our earliest connections to beauty are often shaped in youth, passed down through the rituals and traditions of our mothers and grandmothers that stay with us into adulthood. For , that sense of nostalgia and his relationship with his mother have been central to his journey as the founder of .co, reflecting how deeply personal scent is to who we are and what we embody. "My mother was a profound source of inspiration behind our debut fragrance, ONE. While on tour in Hawaii with Kehlani, she expressed a desire to bring my mom out to experience it with us. They had their own beautiful relationship, but sadly, that never came to be. After my mom passed, I began having recurring dreams of us together on a secluded beach in Hawaii. That singular moment became the emotional foundation for the scent. Our perfumer, Cecile Hua, translated that feeling into what exists today—it’s deeply personal."

In the end, Spence's story proves that beauty is more than just a fragrance—it’s a way of holding someone close. Swipe to get to know Spence's vision for Samir Grey.

“Okay, I’m just going to cut the rest of it off.” These words looped through Susan Wiley’s () mind as she sat in the salon chair, preparing to part ways with the relaxed hair she’s been wearing for 30 years. Wiley, now 60, had been perming her hair every six weeks for decades. But menopause-related thinning and a deep desire to rediscover herself drove her to go natural at the age of 49—and she’s not alone.

While millennial and Gen Z Black women embraced natural hair during the YouTube-driven natural hair movement of the early 2010s, many Gen X women simply weren’t ready yet. For these women, parting with the comfort and familiarity of straight hair required more than a social trend. We spoke to four Black women over 50 who chose to go natural later in life about how the effects of aging, including menopause, finally pushed them to ditch their relaxer.
