ESPN sources: The Eagles are trading Pro-Bowl WR A.J. Brown to the Patriots for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick that is the better of New England’s two fifths. The deal that has been speculated on for weeks now finally is happening. Brown and Patriots HC Mike Vrabel are reuniting.

Like everyone in the racing community, we are stunned and saddened to hear about the sudden passing of former Oxford 250 Champion Kyle Busch. He was a fierce competitor, a welcome presence whenever he competed at Oxford Plains Speedway, and someone we'll miss seeing. RIP, Rowdy.

If you’re anywhere in the New England states — and it’s geographically desirable — we’d love to meet you this weekend for the Commonwealth Takeover edition of the Maller Meet & Greet!

Ben, Coop, and LaReina will all be hanging out at TWO different events this weekend with the Maller Militia P1’s.

FRIDAY MAY 8th — after the Red Sox game (roughly 10pm… earlier if the Sox get smoked or the game moves quickly), we’ll be at the legendary Mighty Squirrel Taproom right near Fenway.

SATURDAY MAY 9th — after the Worcester Woo Sox AAA game (Ben is allegedly throwing out the first pitch), the Meet & Greet starts around 6:30pm at Bolands Irish Bar and Patio. Private room, live band, great food, and plenty of questionable life choices.

Some of the names expected: Mike the Leprechaun, Mike in New Hampshire, Ernesto from the Bay Area, Alf the Alien Opiner, Jeri from Rhode Island, America’s Favorite Trash Man Danny DeVito (not the actor), plus rumors of Andre in the Commonwealth, Marc on the North End, Chris from Boston, and maybe even Movin Man Matt.

No invite needed. No velvet rope. No password. No cover charge. It’s not a speakeasy. Just show up and hang with our fellow nocturnal people.

And if you’re an introvert, no problem — welcome to the club, grab a seat in the back corner and enjoy the event like it’s a live-action human zoo exhibit with beer and sports takes.
