Co-hosts Kerri Pearson Brinkoeter, Cathy Endebrock, and Marlene Sablatura McMichael welcome Emily Calasopa, Founder and President of Shine On Performing Arts (SOPA) in Cedar Park, Texas. The Center provides theater and performing arts classes, camps, and shows for all ages and abilities. Through SOPA, Emily inspires creativity, develops leadership, and encourages community through theater arts. Students, ages 3 to 103, are trained to grow in all areas of performing arts, including all of the backstage tasks necessary to make a performance come together.
Emily’s story is one of divine direction and holy boldness. From a shy home-schooled teen to a leader of hundreds of actors, she shares how God took a simple love for the arts and turned it into a thriving faith-based community that is changing lives on and off the stage.
You’ll hear how God brought miracle after miracle for successes they never expected. Emily also shares the battles she’s faced: financial mountains, physical injury, and spiritual opposition—and how God met her with peace, wisdom, and supernatural strength.
