Recording Radio Film Connection interviewed ERA's Head Mastering Engineer and Recording Connection mentor Mark Christensen on his craft:
"If you've got a specific market that you're trying to sell to, your records have to sound a certain way in order to fit into that genre, and it's the mastering engineer's responsibility to understand what those genres are and how that plays out in the real world... A big part of my job is making sure that the product is stacking up correctly on the radio next to all the other songs that are part of that genre."

Our hearts are heavy today with the passing of our great friend The Combat Jack Show. We had so many amazing stories and memories with Reggie “Combat Jack” Osse that will never be forgotten. His presence at our studio was always felt and he will be missed dearly. We are thankful for knowing such a selfless individual. Our condolences are with the entire Osse family and our good friends of LSN.
