Sadly, two pedestrians have been killed this year in Fremont County. Nationally, a pedestrian is killed every 74 minutes in traffic crashes. Remember, at some point in the day EVERYONE is a pedestrian:
🚶‍➡️ Follow the rules of the road
🚶‍➡️ Use crosswalks when available
🚶‍➡️ Walk on sidewalks when available
🚘 Look out for pedestrians and minimize blind spots
🚘 Be careful in hard-to-see conditions
🚘 Yield to pedestrians in crosswalks

The first week of June sees warming temperatures along with chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Warm, dry, and windy conditions look to move into the region for the weekend. This may lead to increased fire weather concerns for the weekend into the start of next week!
