💔🩁 MYRCELLA KNEW JAIME WAS HER REAL FATHER
 AND JUST WHEN JAIME FINALLY HEARD THE WORDS HE HAD NEVER BEEN ALLOWED TO HEAR, SHE DIED IN HIS ARMS.

For most of her life, Myrcella Baratheon was presented to the world as the daughter of King Robert Baratheon and Queen Cersei Lannister.

But the truth was far more dangerous.

Her real father was Jaime Lannister.

Jaime had three biological children with Cersei—Joffrey, Myrcella and Tommen—but because their relationship could never be publicly acknowledged, Jaime was forced to live beside his own children as their “Uncle Jaime.”

He could protect them.

Look at Jaime’s face in that moment.

For perhaps the first time in Myrcella’s entire life, Jaime wasn’t simply the Kingslayer.

 AND THIS MENACE AERION BRIGHTFLAME KEPT GETTING CLOSER TO THE IRON THRONE. 💀

Imagine living in Westeros and realizing that Prince Aerion Targaryen—one of the most unstable princes of his generation—was getting dangerously close to potentially becoming king.

Aerion wasn’t simply arrogant.

This man genuinely believed he was built different. đŸ˜­đŸ”„

The son of Prince Maekar Targaryen, Aerion was handsome, proud and skilled enough to look like the perfect Valyrian prince from a distance.

Then you actually met him.

During the events surrounding the Ashford tourney, Aerion became furious at the puppeteer Tanselle because her performance showed a dragon being defeated. Apparently even a FAKE dragon losing was enough to offend this man’s Targaryen pride. 💀

Aerion attacked her and broke her finger.

That was when Dunk stepped in and struck a royal prince to protect her—eventually leading to the legendary Trial of Seven.

But Aerion’s cruelty wasn’t even the craziest part of his story.

As members of House Targaryen died and the succession shifted, Aerion found himself frighteningly close to the throne.

His father eventually became King Maekar I, meaning Aerion was now the king’s son.

Maekar’s eldest son, Daeron the Drunken, died before his father. Daeron left only a daughter, Vaella.

Then there was Prince Aemon, who had become a maester and therefore removed himself from the normal path toward kingship.

Suddenly Aerion’s position looked a LOT more serious. 👀

And Westeros had already seen what happened when unstable Targaryens gained enormous power.

Imagine AERION BRIGHTFLAME WITH THE IRON THRONE. đŸ’€đŸ”„

Thankfully for the Seven Kingdoms, Aerion eventually defeated himself in perhaps the most Targaryen way imaginable.

In 232 AC, Aerion drank wildfire.

Why?

Because he reportedly believed the substance would transform him into a dragon.

It did not.

Aerion Brightflame died screaming instead. 🐉💀

But even death didn’t immediately remove his bloodline from the succession problem.

Aerion left behind an infant son named Maegor Targaryen.

After Maekar later died, the Great Council of 233 AC had to decide who should inherit. Baby Maegor technically possessed a strong claim through Aerion, but the lords feared that the boy might inherit his father’s instability.

Aemon was offered the crown and refused it.

Eventually, Aerion’s younger brother—the bald little prince who once traveled around Westeros as “Egg” alongside Dunk—was chosen instead.

He became King Aegon V Targaryen. 👑

Just think about that alternate timeline.

If a few decisions and deaths had gone differently, Westeros might have gotten:

đŸ‘‘âš”ïž STANNIS BARATHEON GAVE RENLY ONE LAST CHANCE TO WALK AWAY—AND HIS OFFER PROVED THAT, DESPITE EVERYTHING, RENLY WAS STILL HIS LITTLE BROTHER.

The meeting between Stannis and Renly Baratheon before the Battle of Storm’s End is one of the most underrated confrontations in Game of Thrones. Two brothers stood opposite each other, both calling themselves king, while Westeros was already tearing itself apart.

After Robert’s death, Stannis believed the law was completely on his side.

He knew Joffrey, Myrcella and Tommen were Jaime and Cersei’s children, meaning they had no legitimate Baratheon claim to Robert’s throne. With Robert leaving no legitimate children, Stannis—the elder surviving Baratheon brother—considered himself the rightful king.

But Renly had another argument:

Power.

Renly was charismatic, popular and backed by House Tyrell, giving him an enormous army. He didn’t care that Stannis came before him in the line of succession. Renly believed the throne would belong to whoever had enough strength to take it.

And Stannis absolutely hated that logic. 💀

Yet instead of immediately treating Renly like any other traitor, Stannis offered his brother a way back.

For the sake of the mother who bore them, Stannis gave Renly until dawn to reconsider.

Lay down his banners.

Abandon his claim.

Return to Stannis.

And Stannis would restore Renly to his old position on the Small Council.

But then came the incredible part:

Stannis was even willing to name Renly his heir until a son was born to him. 👑

Think about what that meant.

Renly could have walked away from his rebellion, kept his lands and position, avoided fighting his own brother—and potentially remained next in line to the Iron Throne.

For Stannis, a man famous for being rigid about law and duty, this was an enormous concession.

But Renly refused.

He had the larger army.

He had the Tyrells.

He had popularity.

And he genuinely believed Stannis had no chance of defeating him.

Renly even mocked Stannis’ claim, pointing out that Robert himself had taken the throne through conquest rather than simply inheriting it.

The tragedy is that Renly never got the battle he expected.

Before dawn could bring armies together, Melisandre’s shadow killed Renly inside his own tent.

One night.

That was all Stannis had offered him.

And by morning, the younger Baratheon brother was dead.

That’s what makes this confrontation so fascinating. Stannis could be cold, unforgiving and brutally committed to what he considered his duty—but for one final moment, he gave his brother an escape route.

Renly chose the crown instead.

And the Baratheon brothers, who could potentially have become one of the strongest forces in Westeros together, destroyed any chance of unity over the same chair.

Robert won the Iron Throne.
Stannis believed he inherited its burden.
Renly believed he could take it through strength.

In the end, none of the three Baratheon brothers left a lasting Baratheon dynasty on the Iron Throne. 💔🩌

Rhaenyra’s story becomes hilarious when you describe it using modern language, because this woman was born into one of the most traditional, patriarchal societies imaginable
 and somehow spent her life breaking nearly every expectation placed on her.

First came Laenor Velaryon.

Rhaenyra was politically married to a gay man despite both of them understanding that their marriage wasn’t a conventional love match. Instead of pretending otherwise, they reached an understanding: perform their royal duties while allowing each other freedom privately.

For Westeros? Absolutely scandalous. 💀

Then Rhaenyra refused to accept the idea that men could have lovers while women were expected to remain perfectly obedient. Her relationship with Harwin Strong resulted in Jacaerys, Lucerys and Joffrey—children officially recognized as Velaryons despite the endless whispers surrounding their parentage.

But House of the Dragon pushed Rhaenyra’s rule-breaking even further.

In Season 2, the show introduced an intimate moment between Rhaenyra and Mysaria, culminating in a kiss—giving Rhaenyra a same-sex encounter that isn’t part of her story in Fire & Blood.

And then came perhaps the biggest challenge to Westerosi tradition:

For generations, Targaryens treated dragonriding almost like sacred proof of their exceptional blood. Dragons were intimately connected to the dynasty’s identity and power.

Suddenly men without great titles were climbing onto creatures once associated almost exclusively with princes and princesses.

She didn’t literally “end religion,” but she absolutely challenged the quasi-religious mythology of Targaryen exceptionalism surrounding dragons and blood. And with the arrival of figures like Hugh Hammer and Ulf White, that decision would eventually come back to haunt her.

So Rhaenyra’s rĂ©sumĂ© basically became:

Married a gay man.
Refused traditional expectations of royal marriage.
Had children outside that conventional marriage.
Kissed a woman.
Challenged male-dominated succession.
Opened dragonriding beyond the immediate royal family.

👑💔 RHAENYRA TARGARYEN FINALLY SAT THE IRON THRONE
 BUT BY THE TIME SHE REACHED IT, THE CROWN HAD ALREADY TAKEN ALMOST EVERYTHING FROM HER.

Rhaenyra spent most of her life knowing that King Viserys I had chosen her as his heir. The great lords of Westeros had sworn to defend her rights, and she grew up believing that one day she would become the first ruling Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

But when that day finally came, her inheritance became a nightmare.

First, she lost her father, Viserys. Before Rhaenyra could even properly mourn him, the Greens crowned Aegon II in King’s Landing and effectively stole the throne Viserys had promised her.

Then came another devastating loss.

💔 Her daughter Visenya.
After learning of Viserys’ death and Aegon’s coronation, the pregnant Rhaenyra went into a traumatic premature labor and delivered a stillborn daughter.

Then she lost Lucerys Velaryon.

Luke flew to Storm’s End as a messenger, expecting diplomacy—not battle. But Aemond followed him on Vhagar, and above Shipbreaker Bay, Vhagar killed Lucerys and Arrax.

Rhaenyra had lost a son before the war had truly even begun. 🐉💔

And the losses kept coming.

⚔ Rhaenys Targaryen, one of Rhaenyra’s strongest supporters and most experienced dragonriders, died with Meleys at Rook’s Rest.

🌊 Then came Jacaerys Velaryon, Rhaenyra’s eldest son and heir. Jace had worked tirelessly for his mother’s cause, securing alliances and helping find new dragonriders. But during the Battle of the Gullet, Jace and Vermax fell.

Rhaenyra had now lost two sons to the Dance.

Even the people who remained began slipping away.

Her relationship with Daemon deteriorated under the pressure of paranoia, war and Nettles. Daemon eventually left for Harrenhal, where he faced Aemond and Vhagar above the Gods Eye.

Neither Daemon nor Caraxes truly returned to her. 💔

Then came betrayal.

The dragonseeds Hugh Hammer and Ulf White turned against her cause at Tumbleton, making Rhaenyra increasingly suspicious of those around her.

Her rule in King’s Landing became harsher as the war emptied the treasury and the city descended into hunger, fear and unrest.

And eventually, Rhaenyra lost the very thing she had sacrificed everything to obtain:

King’s Landing.

The city revolted.

The Dragonpit was stormed.

Dragons died.

And then Rhaenyra suffered perhaps the most symbolic loss of all—

🐉 Syrax.

The dragon she had ridden since childhood, the creature connected to the young princess she once was, died during the chaos in King’s Landing.

Think about what remained.

Her father was gone.
Visenya was gone.
Luke was gone.
Jace was gone.
Rhaenys was gone.
Daemon was gone.
Syrax was gone.
Her capital was lost.
Her allies were fractured.

And still, the tragedy wasn’t finished.

Rhaenyra fled to Dragonstone, believing she might find safety in her ancestral home.

Instead, Aegon II was waiting.

Rhaenyra—the girl once called the Realm’s Delight, the princess who dreamed of sitting the Iron Throne—was killed by Sunfyre in front of her young son Aegon.

That is the cruelest part of her story.

Rhaenyra got the Iron Throne. She actually sat upon it. But the price was her children, her dragon, her husband, her family, her happiness and eventually her own life.

She spent years fighting to inherit her father’s crown


only to discover that sometimes winning the throne and losing everything else isn’t victory at all. 👑💔🐉

❀⚔ DAVOS, SAM & THE HOUND PROVED THAT BEING A FATHER HAS MORE TO DO WITH LOVE AND PROTECTION THAN BLOOD EVER WILL.

One of the greatest ironies in Game of Thrones is that some men who were never these children’s biological fathers treated them with more love than the fathers who actually were.

🩌 Davos Seaworth & Shireen Baratheon
Stannis was Shireen’s father, but Davos became one of her warmest companions. Shireen taught Davos to read, and Davos treated the lonely princess with genuine affection rather than seeing her as a political tool. When he discovered that Stannis had allowed his own daughter to be burned alive, Davos was devastated. The confrontation with Melisandre showed just how deeply he had loved Shireen.

📚 Samwell Tarly & Little Sam
Little Sam was born to Gilly and Craster, but Craster was no father worth remembering. His horrifying system sacrificed his infant sons to the White Walkers and abused the women of his household. Sam did the opposite. He protected Gilly and her baby, carried Little Sam through danger and eventually built the family neither of them had ever been given.

đŸș The Hound & Arya Stark
Sandor Clegane certainly wasn’t Arya’s father—and their relationship began with him taking her captive for ransom. But somewhere along that brutal journey, something changed. He fed her, protected her and repeatedly kept her alive. Their relationship was messy, violent and complicated, but by the end Sandor cared enough to stop Arya from following his own path of revenge. At the Red Keep, he convinced her to leave rather than die chasing Cersei.

Then look at the biological fathers.

Stannis sacrificed Shireen for his ambition and belief in prophecy.

Craster gave his own sons to the White Walkers.

And Jaime, despite being the biological father of Joffrey, Myrcella and Tommen, spent most of their lives publicly acting as their uncle because revealing the truth could destroy them all. He clearly had feelings for his children—especially Myrcella—but circumstances, secrecy and his relationship with Cersei prevented him from ever truly being their father in the way they needed.

That’s the difference.

Davos didn’t need Shireen’s blood to mourn her like family.
Sam didn’t need Little Sam’s blood to raise and protect him.
The Hound didn’t need Arya’s blood to choose her survival over revenge.

Sometimes the people who step up become more important than the people whose names appear on the family tree. ❀

Neither of them seemed made for the cruel world they were born into.

Helaena Targaryen wanted little to do with crowns, politics or war. While the Greens and Blacks fought over the Iron Throne, Helaena remained gentle, strange and innocent—more interested in her insects and cryptic dreams than ruling anyone. 🩋

Yet she was crowned queen because of her family.

Then came Blood and Cheese.

Helaena was forced into an unimaginably cruel situation involving her children, and her young son Jaehaerys was murdered before her eyes. The trauma shattered the peaceful woman who had never asked to participate in the Dance.

The Lannisters needed his crown.
The Tyrells needed his marriage.
The Faith needed his authority.

Tommen wanted peace—and instead became a piece on everyone else’s board.

Then Cersei destroyed the Great Sept of Baelor, killing Margaery and countless others.

Tommen watched the aftermath from his window.

He removed his crown


and quietly stepped into death.

That is what makes Helaena and Tommen so heartbreaking.

They weren’t monsters destroyed by their own cruelty. They were peaceful souls who inherited the consequences of other people’s ambition.

Helaena was born into a dynasty tearing itself apart over succession.

Tommen was born from the secret that helped tear another kingdom apart.

Neither started the war around them.

Neither deserved what happened to them.

Yet somehow, the gentlest members of these families paid some of the cruelest prices. 💔🩋

And confident enough to believe the Iron Throne could truly become hers.

She wasn’t perfect. She could be impulsive, stubborn and reckless—but those imperfections were part of what made her so captivating.

There was a fire in young Rhaenyra that couldn’t be hidden.

And perhaps that’s what makes watching her story become darker so heartbreaking. The Dance wasn’t simply about Rhaenyra losing people she loved.

It slowly took away pieces of the fearless girl we first met. 💔

đŸ”„âš”ïž “ROBERT’S REBELLION WAS BUILT ON A LIE.” — BUT THE TRUTH IS EVEN MORE COMPLICATED.

For nearly two decades, Westeros believed the same story: Rhaegar Targaryen kidnapped Lyanna Stark, Robert Baratheon’s betrothed, and carried her away against her will.

Robert went to war believing the woman he loved had been stolen from him.

But Game of Thrones eventually revealed something completely different—Lyanna wasn’t Rhaegar’s prisoner. She loved him. 💔

According to the show, Rhaegar had his marriage to Elia Martell annulled and secretly married Lyanna. Their relationship produced a son: Aegon Targaryen—the boy the world would know as Jon Snow.

Rhaegar eventually met Robert at the Trident, where Robert smashed him with his warhammer. The Targaryen dynasty collapsed, King’s Landing fell, and countless people died without knowing the truth about Rhaegar and Lyanna.

Then Robert took the Iron Throne.

And perhaps the cruelest part?

The child born from the relationship Robert believed had destroyed his life grew up inside Robert’s kingdom as Ned Stark’s “bastard.” 👀

Jon Snow lived right under everyone’s noses carrying the blood of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark.

One secret relationship.

The bond between Daemon Targaryen and Caraxes has always felt different. Caraxes wasn’t simply a dragon Daemon climbed onto before battle — they moved like two halves of the same creature. So when Ulf and Silverwing threatened the battlefield while Daemon was vulnerable below, Caraxes going after them alone feels like pure instinct: protect my rider first, worry about the odds later.
