For me, I enjoy writing content that puts the "science" back in "science fiction". This usually means long days, or even months, of painstaking research before distilling the collected knowledge down to its most salient points.

Headlines like this, however, combined with the propagation of fake/fraudulent AI studies, has made it more difficult than ever to discern what is accurate and authentic, even from previously trusted sources.

Which I guess only reinforces the old adage about not believing everything you read. It's a sad state of affairs, but unfortunately that is the world we live in now.

Every now and then I come across a Kickstarter project that I think our readers would really enjoy. This is one of them. I have no connections to the creators, but this is exactly the sort of vintage adventure story that inspired the formation and mission of Noble Worlds Press.

Despite some narrative flaws, it's a fun popcorn flick and worth seeing in the theater. My wife and I loved it! 🙂
