PRAY FOR CEASEFIRE AND CEASE-BLOOD-SHED IN THE LAND

Dear Believers and Friends
I feel courageous to request all believers and friends who are heavily burdensome with daily BLOOD-SHED in our land. Since I left my dear parents, brothers and sisters to Ethiopia as Red Army in 1987 -- 2011, I haven't seen such a blood shed where one ethnic group attacked each other without mercies and kill anyone like nothing. I know you are in agreement with me because many people are taking laws in their hands like Cain who killed his brother for own mistake (Gen 4:1-9)
A. Test of feeling:
1. Are we really far from that incident?
2. Who is responsible for these daily blood shed?
3. Why are finishing ourselves?
4. Is it soil or grass or water which is feeling thirty with blood?
5. Whom do you think was victorious between Cain and Abel during the first murder in Eden?
Apparently, Cain and Abel were all miserable after the action, because Cain missed his own brother for a simple reason while Abel's blood remained crying on the ground (Gen 4:4-9) none of them enjoyed life with parents in Eden, because Cain was cursed and sent away with mark of disowned immediately by God as criminal. Therefore, we need to pray to cease-blood-shed too as our leaders and peace partners plead always for a ceasefire between the warring parties in the land. For sure, I am also convinced that if Jesus could come on the days when your clan is in clashes with other clans, very few individuals among us will go to heaven with Him.
B. Way forward:
1. God is merciful to all who can stop violence and follow lawful and professional approach for better solution
2. God is merciful for those who are blowing blood shed trumpets from far and near if they stop doing so
3. God is merciful to those who finances violence instead of development if they sympathize the people of the land.
4. God is merciful to spiritual leaders who supports divisions instead of love, peace, grace, truth and hope in the Lord if they follow their job descriptions
For this purpose I am kindly inviting you for a daily prayer routine from Wednesday to Wednesday next week if possible please. Time suggested is 7 in the evening and 7 in the morning.
Conclusion
Finally, May the Lord Almighty remove all hostilities for comprehensive CEASEFIRE AND CEASE-BLOOD-SHED across the land as we will be preparing and watchful for Christ's return. Amen comes Lord Jesus Christ (Rev 22 20)

SDAs BEATEN, IMPRISONED AND CHURCH CLOSED — MALEK PAYAM, YIROL EAST COUNTY, LAKES STATE.

Last week, the administration of Malek Payam decreed an SDA Church shutdown and warned its members thereof not to preach the gospel again.

Yesterday, it happened that the saints went to Church to worship God as His command is. When society saw that, they were cut to hearts, therefore they sent soldiers to beat the praying folks. When soldiers arrived at the church, they called elders out — six of them, took them to the police departmental station.

Afterwards, the police tortured the elders severely, and sent them to prison cell; for the gospel's sake.

QN: As a true South Sudanese, is the 23rd article of SSD Transitional Constitution still valid!?

NB: Jesus warned His followers that they will be hated, persecuted, denounced by their fellow men just for gospel's sake.
So, it's not something new to face fiery trials, even the prophets and Christ HIMSELF were harshly reviled, ridiculed and oppressed. If they persecuted our first pioneers, who are we to be safe!?

Subject: Response and Request for Clarification Regarding Allegations Against the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Malek Payam

Date: 30th September, 2026
To: The Administrator/Relevant Community Authority
Malek Payam, Yirol East County, Lakes State

Dear Sir/Madam,

We, the representatives and members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Malek Payam, respectfully acknowledge the concerns raised in the document dated 26 September 2026 concerning our religious activities.

We are ready to listen to any genuine complaint and to cooperate with community authorities. However, because the document contains allegations that may affect the reputation, freedom of worship, and continued operation of our church, we respectfully request that every allegation be clearly identified and supported by evidence.

We therefore respond as follows:

1. ALLEGATION: SDA members were worshipping/preaching from house to house at night

What the document appears to allege!
The document states that there was worship/preaching "from house to house at night".

Our response:
We respectfully request clarification:
*On which date or dates did this allegedly happen?
*At what exact time?
*In which house or houses?
*Who were the SDA members involved?
*Who invited them into the house?
*What exactly did they do?
*Did the occupants complain at the time?
*Was anyone threatened, forced, or prevented from leaving?
*Was there any damage, disturbance, or other unlawful conduct?

If SDA members were invited by residents to conduct Bible study or prayer, that fact should also be considered.

Important distinction: A complaint about the time or manner of religious activity is different from proof that the religious activity itself was unlawful.

2. THE FIVE WOMEN/WIVES LISTED IN THE DOCUMENT

The document lists:
1. Wife of Mangar Machiek
2. Wife of Diardit Madel
3. Wife of Tok Akuok
4. Wife of John Dhieu
5. Wife of Ater Deng

Our response:
The document does not clearly state what specific offence or misconduct each woman allegedly committed.
Therefore, we respectfully request that the complainants provide, for each individual:

*Full name
*Specific allegation
*Date and location of the alleged incident
*Name of complainant
*Names of witnesses
*Any documentary evidence
*Any other supporting evidence

A person's name appearing on a complaint is not itself evidence of wrongdoing.

The response should also avoid publicly accusing these women of adultery, immoral conduct, or any criminal offence unless the complainants clearly make such an allegation and provide evidence.

3. ALLEGATION THAT THE SDA CHURCH SHOULD BE DISMISSED

We respectfully ask:
√Who made the decision to dismiss the church?
√What legal authority was used?
√What specific law or regulation authorizes the dismissal?
√Was the SDA church formally notified?
√Was the church given an opportunity to respond?
√Was a hearing conducted?
√Who attended the hearing?
√Was a written decision issued?
√Is there a right of appeal?

4. CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO WORSHIP

The Transitional Constitution of South Sudan, Article 23(a) guarantees the right to worship or assemble in connection with any religion or belief and to establish and maintain places for those purposes. Article 23(e) also protects teaching religion or beliefs in suitable places.

Article 23(h) specifically guarantees the right to observe days of rest and celebrate holidays and ceremonies according to religious beliefs.

Therefore, the fact that the SDA Church worships on Saturday (Sabbath) is itself protected religious observance; a disagreement with the SDA interpretation of the Sabbath does not by itself establish wrongdoing.

5. RELIGION AND STATE

Article 8 of the Transitional Constitution provides that: "Religion and State shall be separate, and All religions shall be treated equally."

The Seventh-day Adventist Church recognizes the authority of the Government and traditional/community authorities within their lawful responsibilities. At the same time, the church respectfully requests equal treatment with other religious communities and protection of its constitutional religious rights.

6. FREEDOM OF PEACEFUL ASSEMBLY

Article 25 recognizes the right to peaceful assembly and freedom of association.

Therefore, if SDA members are peacefully meeting for prayer, Bible study, worship, or other religious purposes, the appropriate question should be whether there was a specific unlawful act, rather than whether the people were simply exercising their religion.

7. PRIVACY OF PEOPLE'S HOMES
Article 22 protects the privacy of persons and their homes, subject to lawful limitations.

The SDA Church respects the privacy of every household. Our members should enter a home for religious activity only with the knowledge or consent of the occupants. If any member entered a home without permission or disturbed a household, we are prepared to investigate that specific incident. This makes the church's position much more credible.
